Midsummer night's dream (Act #2 ,SCENE #1)

Act #2, SCENE #1

  Act 2 scene 1 takes place in tge woods where there are fairies. A fairy named Puck (a fairy who serves the King) is talking to another fairy and asking him where he is going.The fairy seemed to be going somewhere really far.Puck tells the fairy that Titiana (queen of fairies) just had adopted a young boy which she stole from an indian king. And because she loves the young boy so mhch that at times she forgets to show love for her own husband , Oberon (King if Faries).Because of this unfairness in love, the king , Oberon is jelouse and furious.

  Oberon later tells his wife , Titiana to hand over the boy , but as Titiana's love for the boy was very great , she refused and leaves.

  After Titiana has left , Oberon and Puck have a conversation on how they are going to get revenge on his wife.He later tells Puck to find a purple flower that has been struck but a cupid's arrow. Oberon plans on making Titiana fall in love with a wild animal , and while she is distracted , Oberon will steal the boy that Titiana loves so much befkre her reverses the spell of the purple flower.

  Later Oberon turns himself invisible as he sees Demetrius and Helena.

At this point Helena has already told Demetrius abou how Lysander is going to run away with his bride. After listening to this , Demetrius is very furious at Lysander and wants to kill him, but he is not angry at Hermia as he is blinded by love.

  Helena is telling Demetrius , her love for him and Demetrius is rejecting her love for him.

  Puck later has the flower and as Oberon pitied Helena, he told Puck to drop some juice in Demetrius' eyes and Puck does what he was told.
